Okay before you do anything, watch this clip. MALK (warning sensitive material)
Did you enjoy that? I love that video, and I shared it with y'all because as a lover of milks, malks, and mulks, I felt like it was very appropriate. Another thing that I find very appropriate and applicable is the five different kinds of gourmet chocolate milks I found at the store.
Yes, I know that this blog began with the best stuff on the internet but it has evolved into the best stuff period. And right now it's focus is the best chocolate milk.
THE JOURNEY
My brother and I ventured to the closest Harmons, where we bought five different kinds of delightful chocolate milk. We bought Cocoa Metro's Belgian style chocolate milk, Straus Family Creamery organic chocolate milk, Promised Land midnight chocolate milk, Meadow Gold TruMoo chocolate milk and Fairlife chocolate milk.
They all were amazing in their own individual ways but the overall winner was the Straus Family Creamery chocolate milk.
STRAUS
This milk had a rich, almost bitter chocolate flavor, its base was whole milk and you could tell the difference it made. The mouthfeel of the milk on your tongue was rich, thick and creamy.Literally from your lips to your tongue.. It was a delightful tasty experience.
(and bonus, its Lactose Free!)
COCOA METRO
The Cocoa Metro chocolate milk was good as well. My brother and I had tried this chocolate milk a few weeks ago and we were so excited because it was so scrumptious. This milk has a rich dark chocolate bitterness that is perfectly balanced by the creamy milk. This chocolate milk was really nice, but I honestly think that, that the only reason it didn't win was because the milk wasn't whole milk. The base milk is reduced fat milk. This was the only downside to it.

PROMISED LAND
The Promised land milk was one of the sweeter chocolate milks. It was creamy and thick and its flavor almost reminded me of Hershey's syrup added to milk. It was sweet, and simple, and just about perfect as chocolate milk goes. If you are a lover of chocolate milk but don't like the darker flavor of rich chocolate this is a very good option.
FAIRLIFE
Fairlife chocolate milk was the sweetest chocolate milk. It was rich in its mouthfeel, and practically begged you to keep drinking. This one would probably be really good for kids. It had a lot of added vitamins and omegas minerals. It was creamy, sweet, and delish!
TRUMOO
Trumoo was good! This one was tasted the least of chocolate. Honestly it reminded me of malt, with a hint of cocoa.. Like a whopper candy. This one is basically the classic milk they give you in primary school. I enjoyed this one based on the incredibly light flavor. It was also the lightest color of all of the milks as well. It was pretty good but definitely not the crowd favorite.
Overall all of the chocolate milks were good and interesting in different ways. But if you want the best go for the Straus. I hope y'all enjoy your drinks!
See you later Y'all!
